Bowling family

Rev. Adam C. Bowling, Associate Pastor

Adam grew up as a member of King's Grant Presbyterian Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where at age thirteen he had the opportunity to travel to the Holy Land with an adult Sunday School class. This trip became a turning point for him in his faith formation as a youth.

After high school, Adam attended Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, a Presbyterian-affiliated school and one of only two remaining all-male colleges in the United States. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology and Religion. It was at a residential summer camp, Camp Hanover, where Adam felt the call to the ministry, and also met his wife, Erin. Adam attended Union Presbyterian Seminary in Virginia and graduated with a Masters of Divinity and a Masters of Arts in Christian Education in 2007.

Adam serves as Associate Pastor and Vice Moderator of Session, with a focus on Christian education, student ministry, fellowship, and evangelism. In addition, he enjoys traveling, singing, playing trumpet, white water rafting, live theater, Gospel magic, and theme parks. He and Erin have been blessed with two boys, Parker and Chase.
