Pentecost

June 4 Is Pentecost Sunday—

Wear RED!

Coming fifty days after Easter, Pentecost is the day we remember and celebrate the gift of God’s Spirit and the birth of the Church.  Red is the liturgical color for the day, symbolizing the power and warmth of the Spirit in our midst.  We encourage all worshipers to wear red on this day.

In the service of worship, our Junior Choir will sing, we will ordain and install new officers, and we will celebrate the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.
