Lent Small Group
Beginning Monday, February 23, Rev. Perry will lead a six-week small group during Lent. This group is for those who may be longing for something deeper; those whose spiritual journey may seem dry and in need of renewal, or those who enjoy reviewing the historic spiritual practices of the Christian faith. We will explore various Christian spiritual practices such as silence, sacred reading of scripture, walking a labyrinth, and journaling, and we will practice a few of them. All participants are asked to purchase the book “Making All Things New” by Henri Nouwen (available on Amazon for $10) and read it independently. The group will meet in the parlor from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Mondays, Feb. 23-Mar 30, and will be limited to 10 people.
